DESCRIPTION
Three tiers deep and nearly nine centimetres long, this pair stacks a red cabochon, a filigree disc, a deep garnet centre framed in turquoise beads, and finishes in a crescent of enamelled red and green with a pearl fringe. Brass and oxidised silver run side by side, exactly as they do in Afghan and Kuchi tribal work where nothing was ever matched too carefully.
