DESCRIPTION
A round temple medallion sits at the top of this pendant, a seated deity worked in relief, and beneath it a fan of oxidised silver opens into a chandbali crescent hung with pearls, with ruby-pink stones set through the middle. It rides on a long strand of graduated silver beads that catches the light with every step. The matching studs carry the same deity in miniature, small enough for daily wear. This is Deccan temple work in the old idiom, made heavy and made to last. You carry history, not trends.
How to style it
The pendant hangs long, so give it a clean run of fabric, a plain kurta, a solid saree blouse or a scoop-neck dress in ivory, black or deep maroon. Avoid busy prints across the chest. The studs are deliberately small so they frame the face without competing with the pendant; wear hair up to keep the line clean. Made for weddings, temple visits and festival lunches.
