The same open filigree panel, this time centred on a turquoise cabochon ringed with a small silver sunburst, hung beneath a beaded disc and finished with a pearl-fringed jhumka. The oxidised finish sits dark in the cut lines and bright along the edges, so the panel looks woven rather than cast. Turquoise came into Deccan workshops along the same routes as the design itself. Wear them with linen and let the blue-green do the rest. You carry history, not trends.

How to style it
Turquoise wants warmth around it, so choose sand, ivory, olive or terracotta over cool tones. A round or boat neck sits well with the rectangular panel. Hair up or half-tied. Perfect for daytime functions, festive lunches and holiday evenings.
