Two peacocks face each other beneath a beaded diamond, tails spread, and from them hangs a deep oxidised dome carved all over with rosettes and closed with a fringe of ghungroo bells. There is no stone in the whole piece, only silver worked until it holds its own light. The peacock is the oldest motif in South Indian temple silver, and it has never needed decorating. Wear it with a plain saree and let the bells announce you. You carry history, not trends.

How to style it
All-silver means every colour is fair game, though ivory, black and deep maroon flatter the oxidised finish most. A round neck or saree blouse gives the dome clean space. Hair up so the peacocks read clearly at the top. Wear them to temple visits, festive mornings and traditional celebrations.
