DESCRIPTION
Two enamelled crescents face inward across the collarbone, banded in deep red and edged in antique gold, with a third crescent hanging at the centre above a small sunburst drop. Between them sit carved green stones and coral beads that carry the eye to the clasp. The moon-and-sun motif runs through Afghan and Rajasthani ornament alike. Worn by women who were never meant to blend in.
Style Note
